Kate Karimson

Kate Karimson is a senior executive with extensive experience across financial services and the technology with a proven track record of building new innovative businesses and products for financial markets. Most recently, Karimson served as the Chief Commercial Officer at LedgerEdge, where she oversaw product development, sales, marketing, and strategic opportunities. Before that, Karimson held several leadership roles at CME Group. During her time at CME Group, she was Global Head of Repo, where she led the development and management of BrokerTec’s Global Dealer to Client platform, BrokerTec Quote as well as running its interbank repo businesses at a global level. Earlier in her career at CME Group BrokerTec, she served as the Head of Fixed Income Product and played a crucial role in implementing strategic tech initiatives across various asset classes within the organisation. Prior to her time at CME Group, Kate Karimson worked at ICAP, where she was responsible for delivering and managing several new corporate bond electronic platforms. She started her career as a corporate bond trader at Barclays Capital. Kate holds a degree in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a degree in Computing and IT from The Open University.
